Specsavers

Here is a link to some online illustrations I've done for Specsavers 'Should've gone to Specsavers' campaign. Look on the right (there are two different ones appearing). This was a real fun project to work on.

Here is a little animation I've done of the lamp I created - this one I've called it 'A lamp with an attitude'. I admit it, is simple but is my first animation on Cinema 4D. I still haven't master the Program, got way to go, but I was tempted to see if I could 'make something move' :)

More 3D on Cinema 4D

Right, this is my new amazing creation on Cinema 4D, I know you all must go 'wow, how did he do that ....it's amazing'. I know is a simple objetc, but I am very happy with it, even more since I didn't follow any tutorial or anything. ... who knows, next time I might do a pen (wow you say again!)

First Cinema 4D Illustration

This is my first attempt doing a character on Cinema 4D and I wanted to share it with everyone.

I am sure I will get much better but quite happy with this little fellow being that is the first one . It is a personal project (learning Cinema 4D so practice makes perfect) but the robot is based on one of the 27 robot 2D illustration I've done for a client recently.

Busy London

I've been living here in London for 10 years now (how did that happen?) and I am still amazed about how crazy and busy it gets when it rains ... you would think that people would be used to it. People seem to lose all sense of direction and of order, eveyone bumps into each other - and their umbrellas. And going with my scooter to work is not the most pleasant of things (well, it's better than being on the tube).

Here is an illustration of how I see it - I can't wait till the sun comes out (in about 8 months )

Google

I have to say I'm not one of the biggest fans of google's different logos - I see the point and think some of them are very clever but I read an article where the illustrators that do it don't get paid a penny, which I think it's unfair. Either way I am not ashamed to say that I am enjoying the latest ones ... perhaps is because it reminds me of my childhood ....... Ahhhh, the cookie monster!!!

Well, people say I am a bit competitive (ask my wife Lisa ..... although I think she lets me win most of the time) and it show on my first attempt at Flash ...  I won!!!!. :)

Ok I admit it, is not very exciting or complicated but it's a start no? Eventually I will be able to make some simple animations of my illustrations on flash (Cinema 4D is going to take me loads, loads longer).

Good on me!!
